This is the last episode for our Christmas mini-series. We'll be talking about what it means for us to bear God's image.
We're in the second episode of our Christmas themed mini-series: the Promised Seed. You might not immediately think of the Christmas season when you read Genesis 3:15, but our hope is that by the end of this episode, Chad Osborne and I are able to show you how much this passage is all about Christmas.
In the next few episodes, we wanted to discuss important themes that we usually miss during this Christmas season. Our culture can make Christmas about a lot of different things, but we know that Christmas really is about how God came to us; 'Emmanuel'. That reality is a mind blowing, insane, grace-filled story. So, today we're going to talk God bringing Heaven and Earth back together.
As we're coming to the end of 2018, we thought it would be helpful to reflect on what's happened in the Going ministry this year. We also wanted to vision-cast and let you hear what we're excited about for 2019.
In this episode, Jason Zastrow and I are talking with Jillian Vincent and Natalie Herr. You might recognize their names from their ministry called Dayton Women in the Word. But before they helped lead that, they were regular Apexers listening to what the Spirit had for them to do next. Today you'll be hearing their stories and their heart for learning and teaching God's word.
In today's episode, we're going to talk about how a needless division exists between those who want to care for their local community and those who want to care for the global community.
Thanksgiving is in a few days, so we thought it would be a great time to talk about gratitude!
This is part three of our conversation with the Clemens'. In this episode, you'll be hearing about Dayton Family Tree, a house church ministry serving those who are serving kids from hard places
This is part two of a conversation with the Clemens. In this episode, you'll be hearing a conversation about the importance of caring for kids affected by trauma and how it changes your heart, family, and views on obedience and culture.
Every year we take time to talk about Orphan Sunday. This year, Jason Zastrow and I wanted to hear the story of Drew and Melissa Clemens.
Three of our team members joined us to talk about God's work in the South Asian Affinity Bloc: Rosalind Whitman, the Apex Going Team Admin, Matt, who works for a ministry that is working to transform small rural communities in India with the Gospel, and Hephzi, who grew up in India and saw firsthand the persecution of the Church.
In today's episode, we wanted to give you an example of what life looks like for our international missionaries. Thankfully, we were able to sit down with two missionaries that we sent out from Apex, Ben Collins and Suzi Collins.
